Product engineering, front to back.
Web and mobile products taken from an empty repository to something people pay for. Frontend, backend and infrastructure held in one hand, so the seams stay few and the handovers stay short.
Pipelines that keep their shape as they grow.
Collection, storage, search and streaming, sized to what the business actually reads and writes rather than to what looks impressive on a diagram.
Models put to work, not put on display.
Retrieval, agents and assistants built into the product itself, chosen for cost and business impact rather than for default complexity, and taken all the way to production.
Time under load
More than twelve years across system architecture and computer engineering, most of it spent on platforms where downtime is expensive and the bill arrives whether or not anyone is watching it.
That has meant distributed platforms running across dozens of cloud services, rebuilds that cut running costs several times over, mobile products past a million downloads, and AI models taken from a research paper into daily use. It has also meant leading teams, which is the part that decides whether any of the rest survives contact with a deadline.

Keynote speaker and moderator
Keynote and panel moderation for the technical session marking the 63rd Engineers Day, on what artificial intelligence is actually going to mean for engineering practice in Nepal. The talk itself argued for making AI understandable to people outside the field, alongside panellists working in machine learning, data and e-governance.
Facilitator
Facilitating a conversation on science and public curiosity at the third Whitehouse Literature Festival, with Prof. Dr. Binil Aryal, former Dean of the Institute of Science and Technology at Tribhuvan University, Dr. Gajendra Sharma, and Er. Subas Chandra Baral, President of the Nepal Engineers’ Association. A festival session that sat where the engineering and the writing meet.
Speaker
A session for IT students at the college Job Fair and Career Counselling, held during its silver jubilee year, on how technology careers are actually built, at home and abroad, and what students can do before they graduate to make the international route a real option.
Outside the code
I write out of the code sometimes, and those ones come from the heart.
